Cleaning your Backforce chair

No matter how much carefully you handle your Backforce, everything gets dirty eventually.

With regular care, you can ensure that your Backforce looks like it did on the first day for as long as possible.

That's why we're giving you a few tips and advice to help you look after your Backforce.

Small basic cleaning

For dust and crumbs, it suffices to wipe the faux leather and frame with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. For the fabric surface, a vacuum cleaner on medium power is sufficient. We recommend that you do this regularly. For example, you can make it part of your housecleaning routine.

Basic cleaning

We recommend that you thoroughly clean your chair 1-2 times a year - depending on how often you use your Backforce. This will remove dirt, odours, stains, discolouration and sweat.

For this purpose, we offer you our high-quality Backforce cleaning set in our online shop. It contains everything you need to clean your Backforce. Even greasy dirt can be removed with it.

If you already have the Backforce cleaning kit, you can proceed as follows.

1. Remove coarse dirt with a brush.
2. Shake the bottle and put a little BACKFORCE cleaner on the dry cloth and rub it in. Never apply directly to the chair!
3. Now clean the textile/artificial leather with light circular movements, always from seam to seam.
4. In between, rinse the cloth in lukewarm water and wipe again.
5. Then wipe the cover with the second cloth with a damp cloth. Use distilled water to avoid lime scale.
6. Allow to dry thoroughly

Would you rather use a tried and tested household remedy? Try baking soda! Simply rub the bicarbonate of soda evenly over the fabric surface with a sponge, leave to work for a few hours, remove with a cloth and vacuum up the residue.

Cleaning imitation leather

The artificial leather of the Backforce is extremely easy to clean and hard-wearing. Nevertheless, it should be cleaned thoroughly as part of basic cleaning. Only use suitable cleaning agents, such as our cleaning kit, to avoid damaging the imitation leather

Vacuum the leather carefully and then wipe it with a damp cloth. Then apply a suitable cleaner to remove the dirt. If necessary, you can also apply a leatherette care product to protect and care for the material.

Cleaning plastic

The plastic of your Backforce is very resistant and does not require any special care. Most dirt can be removed with a damp cloth. If that doesn't help, you can also try a dirt eraser or a plastic cleaner.

Cleaning metal

The aluminum base of the Backforce is also extremely resistant and only needs a microfiber cloth to remove dust. In case of heavy dirt you can also use a damp cloth. To avoid streaks, you just have to wipe it with a dry cloth. You can remove fingerprints or similar with a glass cleaner.
